Chicana scholar and feminist and queer theorist Gloria Anzaldúa reminds us that we are the ones who build the bridges. This election season has been strenuous and sets challenges before us. What are our resources as a community? What are our next moves? Join Pastor Theresa, Reverend Joseph Santos-Lyons, Stefan Schneider, and others for a time of centering and imagining. Embracing meditation is part of the service.

UPDATE: Please bring with you one square of toilet paper as we discuss waiting and time. You can also bring the corner of a tissue or napkin.

Embracing Meditation

A time to share what you’re thinking of with care, embracing meditation will be part of worship. Events for Children and Youth

• Children’s Chapel
  10:00-10:25 AM with Nicole Fitzhugh (2nd and 4th Sundays of each month). If you need information on how to access, please contact Nicole or Alex.
• Club UU
  10:30-11:30 AM. Club UU, our group for tweens and middle school-aged people, returns! We’ll meet over Zoom on the 2nd and 4th Sundays for a low-key way to gather with friends. Check-in for care and support, play games, and learn together at Club UU. Contact Alex and Nicole for more details and information.
• High School Youth Group
  12:00-1:00 PM. Over the next few months the high school youth group will take a deep dive into our UU 7 principles. This Sunday we’ll take a look at our 2nd Principle, “Justice, equity and compassion in human relations.” As usual, we’ll have a time of check-in and a time of centering/grounding. Hope to see you there! Contact Amy or Alex for Zoom information.

Let’s gather for coffee and conversation following worship service! You bring your drink or snack and stay on Zoom.
