Justice and Inclusion: 30 Years of the Americans with Disabilities Act
10:30 AM via Zoom
In 2020, America celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) – landmark legislation designed to ensure a more inclusive America, where every person has the right to participate in all aspects of society, including employment.
Join Debby Kaplan, Deputy Director, San Francisco Mayor’s Office on Disability, and Pastor Theresa as they explore the gifts of the Americans With Disabilities Act and the work of disability justice and inclusion. As Stella Young said, “Disability doesn’t make you exceptional, but questioning what you think you know about it does.“
You will need a Zoom link to join. For Zoom details, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
A time to share what you’re thinking of with care, embracing meditation will be part of the live Zoom worship at 10:30 AM (see above).
