First Sunday – The beauty of anti-racism

We gather as a loving and learning community and consider how the anti-racism and anti-oppression are part of our congregational life as an organization. Seattle-based writer Ijeoma Oluo offers that, “The beauty of anti-racism is that you don’t have to pretend to be free of racism to be an anti-racist.” How do all these elements fit together in a healthy ethical and spiritual life? Join us to consider how we express our love and joy, even as we don’t pretend to be free of racism. Rev. Julie Brock will be our guest preacher.
