First Unitarian is a member of Genesis, the Bay Area affiliate of the Gamaliel National Network, which mission is to empower ordinary people to effectively participate in political, environmental, social, and economic decisions affecting their lives. On Saturday the 3rd, let’s join Genesis, 350BayArea, Transform, the Sierra Club, and others for Rosa Parks Transit Equity Day Webinar and Rally. Rosa Parks’ historic protest was against the unequal access of African Americans to public transit. On Saturday, we will hear from workers and riders and make calls to our legislators to stop the massive cuts planned for public transit. Register at tinyurl.com/25J49HND.
