Pastoral Conversations
Pastoral Conversations now take place at 1:00 PM on every other Tuesday. Join Pastor Theresa and community members in a time of conversation and centering. Centering always starts fifteen minutes after start time and lasts for fifteen minutes. The next one will be on May 26. For Zoom meeting information, please write to yesplease@uuoakland.org.

Congregants are warmly invited to attend the upcoming board meeting via Zoom on Tuesday, May 26, for the open comment period, the meeting itself, or both.
- 6:45-7:00 PM – Open comment period. Up to 3 minutes for each guest.
- 7:00-9:15 PM – Meeting
If you prefer, you may contribute brief comments in advance, to be read aloud by a board member during the comment period. Please send to board@uuoakland.org, with the subject line “Comment for the Board,” by 5:00 PM on Tuesday.

Religious Education Update
As we say godspeed to Rev. Sheri, a task force has already met to describe a vision and begin designing a healthy religious education transition. Stakeholders, team members, and trustees, along with Rev. Theresa and Aisha Hauser, president elect of the Liberal Religious Educators Association, affirmed the strengths of children and family ministries and adult faith development and brainstormed priorities going forward. It is hoped a skilled religious educator can be found to join us by August.
