<pre><code><br /><b>Pop-up Choir's last sing is May 25 for this church year. </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">What is UUOakland's Pop-up Choir?  Pop-up Choir is fun, spirit-filled group-singing, once a month in the Sunday morning service.  We meet at </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">9:15 am</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Sunday in the Sanctuary, learn the (easy) songs, sing in that morning's service, and you're happily done by </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">11:30</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">-ish. <strong>What's Next: Candidating Week! </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">Our ministerial candidate, Rev. Theresa Soto, will be at church every day from 4/27 to 5/5 (9 days) and is eager to hear your thoughts and dreams. Exact schedule TBA, but they will be preaching on 4/28 and 5/5. Please make time to attend our special congregational meeting on 5/5 when all members of the church will be asked to make the important decision whether to call Rev. Soto as our next minister. This is not a mere formality but a momentous decision in the life of our church.</span>
