Ella Baker Team Update
The Ella Baker Team was on the move this week supporting efforts to change the culture in Alameda County jails. Ten members joined a rally Oct 2 at the Board of Supervisors meeting, with Reverend Mary Foran leading the assembled group in prayer. Team members met with Supervisors Carson and Chan to garner their support for a jail audit. The team next meets Oct 28 12:30 – 1:30.
