Search Team Survey September
Perhaps the most important part of our congregation’s search process is to describe accurately who we are and our hopes, dreams, and concerns.
After every service in September plus three more (TBA), we will be holding Cottage Conversations followed by a written survey. Child care available; snacks served.
The survey will be released online in early September to preview; we prefer you complete it after a Cottage Convo since hearing the needs and preferences of others can inform one’s responses on our needs. immig.atty@gmail.com
If possible, we ask that you sign up in advance so that we know how many people are coming. Sign-up preferred:

YES!! An Earth Justice Shout Out to First Unitarian Church of Oakland Members Who signed the Letter to Governor Brown.
Jerry Brown has been Governor of California for almost 16 years. He promoted renewable energy and California leads that movement. However, he has not supported the massive efforts to curtail fossil fuel development. This letter, Brown’s Last Chance, notes his missed opportunities to stop fracking, stop new leases to oil companies, and to join the No Coal in Oakland movement. This letter outlines the massive disappointment by his inaction. Our signature is one of 700+ on the letter.
