Should We Modify Our Policy on Members and Active Friends Being Employees?

At its March meeting, the Board of Trustees took up consideration of a policy that would bar members and active friends of the congregation from being employees of the Church. This has been an open item for a while, is discussed throughout UUA congregations, and we had hoped to have a discussion at the Annual Meeting.
Before making a decision, the Board is opening up a period for members to comment and discuss. Please let us know your thoughts by writing to or by attending a discussion on Sunday, April 23 at 1:00 PM in the Starr King Room.
