This Memorial Day weekend, please join Rev. Theresa Soto and worship associate Bill Blakely for a special service to be celebrated live on Zoom! This Sunday we will observe Memorial Day with the theme of “Swords into Ploughshares.” Special pastoral elements will be offered to hold our experiences of the continuing pandemic. Bring an adhesive bandage (or any that you use) for a grief and healing ritual. You will need a Zoom link to join. Embracing Meditation

We continue to do the embracing meditation on Sunday mornings via Facebook Live on the First Unitarian Church of Oakland Facebook page.

At 10:20 AM, the meditation will start and you will be able to read others’ comments and put the things you’re thinking of with care in your own comments.
