Sun., Sept 9, Water Communion
Unitarian Universalist minister and activist Rev. Kathleen McTigue in her prose invites us “to resist the headlong tumble into the next moment, taking time to look into one another’s faces and see there communion: the reflection of our own eyes.” Please join Pastor Jacqueline, Rev. Sheri, Board of Trustees, Crescendo Choir and Joyful Noise for our annual Water Communion. As a community, we will pause and resist the headlong tumble. We will welcome each other and celebrate a new program church year. This service will also recognize Rosh Hashanah. Everyone is invited to bring a small amount of water from a place (or places) which hold special significance to you. From hospital rooms to kitchen faucets to vacation spots…all waters are welcome. All people are welcome. Bring a friend and come let us worship together.
