Interim Director of Religious Education Alex Haider-Winnett invites us to consider the role of lifespan religious education in our community’s work for transformative justice. More than just Sunday School for kids, Religious Education is for all ages and abilities. Worship team includes Rev. Theresa Soto, worship associate Dan Wright, and Stefan Schneider. Immediately following service, please join Alex and Pastor Theresa for an hour-long conversation on the history and strength of our religious education program at Oakland. This will be the first of three workshops to consider where we want RE to go in the future of the church.
