The Story of Ruth: A Religious Humanist Lens

How powerful are stories in our lives? How deep do they run? While exploring the story of the Book of Ruth from the Hebrew Bible, and our relationship to ancestral religions given to us generation to generation, we seek to broaden our understanding of hospitality and welcoming “the other.” Join guest Reverend Ruth Rinehart and others this Sunday.

Rev. Ruth is a community minister affiliated with the Jefferson Unitarian Church in Golden, Colorado. She is passionate about Unitarian Universalism, permaculture, film, and crocheting, as well as the 8th Principle Project and loving on her partner and adult children. She has described her theology as a queer eco-feminist mysticism and is also comfortable with religious naturalism, as she appreciates all ways that faith can make one a better person.
