Video Worship Experience
Sunday, June 7
All are invited to celebrate on June 7 the transformative power of music that is central to the worship life of First Unitarian Church of Oakland.
The pre-recorded worship video will begin to play live at 10:30 AM in a YouTube Premiere and will be available for on-demand viewing thereafter. The chat panel will be available for realtime comments and reactions during the premiere.
Embracing Meditation
We continue to do the embracing meditation on Sunday mornings via Facebook Live on the First Unitarian Church of Oakland Facebook page.
At 10:20 AM, the meditation will start and you will be able to read others’ comments and put the things you’re thinking of with care in your own comments.

When the Stars Begin to Fall: A Vespers Service in Support of Black Lives
June 7, 5:15 to 6:15 PM, via Zoom
Our thoughts and feelings about police violence are complicated by our experiences of the pandemic. We will be joined by congregants from the Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church and from the First Unitarian Church of San Jose in a time for reflection and sharing. Please send an email to yesplease@uuoakland.org to request Zoom details.
