8th Principle Coloring and Wondering Party
Tuesday, March 30, 7:30 to 9:00 PM

Whether you attended or missed the recent Dream-Up session, workshop, worship, or First Sunday gathering focused on the Eighth Principle of Unitarian Universalism, come chat about what was learned and what you are wondering. We’ll color this sheet and then start the chat at 8 PM. If you would like support with getting a printed coloring sheet, crayons, or colored pencils, please email Pastor Theresa at revsoto@uuoakland.org. For an auto-reply with meeting details, send an email to yesplease@uuoakland.org with the subject line COLORING.

The Read-Along Continues: Braiding Sweetgrass
Friday, April 9, 6:00 to 7:00 PM

This year, we are gathering wisdom and perspective from Robin Wall Kimmerer’s book, Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plants. For this fourth meetup, please read “Allegiance to Gratitude,” “Epiphany in the Beans,” “The Three Sisters,” and “Wisgaak Gokpenagen: A Black Ash Aasket.” Write to yesplease@uuoakland.org with READ ALONG in the subject line to receive the link. If you would like support in obtaining the book, e-book, or audiobook, please reach out to Pastor Theresa.
