Barking Pig Awards from Pastor Theresa

This Sunday, in worship before the annual meeting, Pastor Theresa gave two awards to people who have responded to the pandemic with acts of creation that strengthened and nurtured our congregation.

Corless Smith: Corless has continued to work on the Justice Team and Earth Justice. She also sewed the beautiful stole that we gave to Rev. Sheri Prud’homme as a token of our appreciation and care. Thank you, Corless, for all your contributions to the congregation. Vincent Raines has been a strong support as we have transitioned to both Zoom and YouTube. We are really grateful that you use your skills to support the congregation’s connections and to help provide beautiful worship experiences, both on Zoom as a host and as a video editor for pre-recorded services.

I am going to add an award here that I didn’t give on the 20th, and that’s to Renee Witon. Renee has used this time to upload choir recordings to Spotify and other platforms. This is such a helpful thing for organizing and sharing the substantial library of songs that have been recorded over the years. Stay tuned for more information about that. Thank you, Renee.

Join us in congratulating all the inaugural Barking Pig awardees!
