Week of 8-1-19 New Announcements & Events

Thurs., Aug. 22, Congregational Book Group Meeting, 7:30-9:30 PM.

We’ll discuss “The Gene: An Intimate History” by Siddhartha Mukherjee, Parts Four, Five, Six and the Epilogue.  (We read Parts One, Two and Three this month. This is a challenging and fascinating book about science and how it progresses over time, with a lot of biography, social history, politics and ethics to keep us non-science majors absorbed.
