Deep Gratitude for Minister’s Discretionary and Pastoral Associates Collections. During our Christmas Eve and Kwanzaa Services, all monies collected went directly into the Minister’s Discretionary Fund for the coming year. During these three collections, we raised $2,748 to help those who seek out assistance from our church in the upcoming year. Additionally, during our Tolling of the Bells service on January 6, the collection was a plate share in which $340.00 was raised for the Pastoral Associates to use, as appropriate, during the upcoming year. To all who were able to contribute to these two collections, we thank you deeply! Your generosity will help those in times of great need.
Ministerial Search Committee (MSC 19) News! The Cone of Silence has descended, but we wanted to tell you that we have indeed received ministerial packets (so, more than one)! We will be meeting three times this week in preparation for our initial ZOOM video interviews. Then, we will contact the references provided (in contrast to the “developed references” whom we will talk to later in the process). We will continue to review what you told us as we go through this sacred process.
WiFi Update for the Church. We have been working diligently to ensure that our Wifi is both more reliable and more secure. To this end, our WiFi access will change on Tues., Jan 22. If you are someone in a leadership position at church and you require access to our WiFi, please reach out to
